Getting Started
How much does Addagio cost?
Addagio has two plans: Starter (free, 5% per booking) and Pro ($29/month, 0% commission). Both include all features, templates, and unlimited bookings.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can create your booking page for free without a credit card. You only pay the 5% commission when you actually receive bookings.
How long does it take to set up?
Most businesses set up their booking page in under 5 minutes. Choose a template, add your services, and share your link.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes. Every account starts with full access on the Starter plan. You can test everything before getting your first real booking.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Your booking page is a web page — customers tap a link or scan a QR code and book in their browser. No app download needed.
Booking & Scheduling
How do customers book?
Customers visit your booking page (via link, QR code, or the marketplace), select a service, choose a time slot, and confirm. They can also book via WhatsApp.
Can I accept walk-ins and online bookings?
Yes. Online bookings don't replace walk-ins — they complement them. Your calendar shows real-time availability so walk-ins can see the next open slot.
How do I reduce no-shows?
Addagio sends automated WhatsApp/email reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before appointments. You can also require prepayment or deposits.
Does it sync with Google Calendar?
Yes. Connect your Google Calendar in Settings. All bookings automatically create calendar events, and blocked times prevent double-bookings.
Can customers cancel or reschedule?
You control your cancellation policy. Customers can cancel via their confirmation email (if you allow it), or you can handle it manually from the dashboard.
Payments
How do I accept payments?
Connect your Stripe account in Dashboard > Billing. Once connected, customers pay securely at booking. Funds go directly to your bank account.
When do I get paid?
Stripe deposits funds to your bank within 2 business days of the booking payment. No waiting until after the appointment.
What payment methods are supported?
Credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local payment methods via Stripe. Supports 135+ currencies.
Can I offer free bookings (no payment)?
Yes. Payment is optional. If you don't connect Stripe, bookings are free — customers just confirm without paying.
How do refunds work?
Issue refunds from Dashboard > Bookings > select booking > Refund. The refund goes back to the customer's original payment method within 5-10 days.
Templates & Customization
How many templates are there?
50+ templates covering beauty, wellness, fitness, medical, rentals, tours, shops, creative professionals, and more. Each is fully customizable.
Can I use my own colors and logo?
Yes. Go to Dashboard > Page Config to set your brand colors, logo, font, and which sections to show (services, portfolio, team, gallery, etc.).
Can I have a portfolio on my booking page?
Yes. Enable the Portfolio section in Page Config. Upload your work, organize by category, and let customers browse before booking.
Can I sell products (not just services)?
Yes. Enable the Products section. Add products with images, prices, and categories. Customers can browse, add to cart, and checkout.
Marketplace (book.addagio.io)
What is the marketplace?
book.addagio.io is where customers discover and book local businesses. Think Yelp + booking combined. Your page appears in search results by city and category.
How do I get listed?
Enable marketplace listing in Dashboard > Settings. Select your category and city. Your listing is reviewed within 24 hours.
Is the marketplace free?
Yes. Marketplace listing is included in all plans. You pay the same commission (5% or 0% on Pro) regardless of where the booking comes from.
How do I claim a pre-listed business?
If your business already appears on book.addagio.io, click 'Claim Free' on the page. Verify your email or phone, and you'll get full control within 24 hours.
How do reviews work?
Only customers who booked through your page can leave reviews. Reviews are verified and cannot be deleted. You can respond publicly to any review.
Technical
Can I use my own domain?
Yes (Pro plan). Add a CNAME record pointing your domain to Addagio, and your booking page will be accessible at yourdomain.com.
Can I embed the booking widget on my website?
Yes. Go to Dashboard > QR Codes & Links for the embed code. Paste it into any website — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or custom HTML.
Is there an API?
Yes. Pro plan includes API access for custom integrations. Documentation available in the help center.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Addagio uses HTTPS, encrypted database, and processes payments via Stripe (PCI DSS compliant). We never store credit card numbers.
