How it works

A customer books an appointment

Addagio automatically schedules a reminder

The reminder is sent X hours before the appointment (you choose)

Customer gets a WhatsApp or SMS with booking details + cancel/reschedule link

Setup

Step 1: Go to Dashboard → Settings → Automation

Toggle on "Booking Reminders".

Step 2: Configure timing

Choose when to send reminders:

1 hour before — urgent nudge

2 hours before — gives time to prepare

12 hours before — evening reminder for morning appointments

24 hours before (recommended) — standard best practice

48 hours before — for longer lead times

Step 3: Choose channel

WhatsApp (recommended) — 98% open rate, free for you

SMS — reliable fallback, uses Twilio credits

Both — sends WhatsApp first, SMS if WhatsApp fails
