Reviews are one of the most important factors in marketplace ranking and customer trust.
How reviews work
A customer books through your Addagio page
After the appointment/service is completed, they receive an email asking for a review
They rate you 1-5 stars and optionally leave a comment
The review appears on your marketplace listing
Review policy
Only verified bookings can leave reviews (prevents fake reviews)
Reviews cannot be deleted by the business owner
You can respond to any review (public response)
Reviews older than 2 years are weighted less in your overall rating
Inappropriate reviews can be reported for moderation
Tips for getting more reviews
Deliver great service — obvious but most important
Ask at the right time — Addagio automatically sends a review request email after completion
Make it easy — the email has a one-click star rating
Respond to all reviews — shows future customers you care
Don't incentivize — offering discounts for reviews violates our policy
How reviews affect ranking
Businesses with more reviews and higher ratings appear higher in marketplace search results. A business with 4.8 stars and 50 reviews will rank above one with 5.0 stars and 2 reviews (more data = more trust).
