After each completed appointment, Addagio can automatically ask your customers to leave a Google review. Build your online reputation without lifting a finger.
How it works
A booking is marked as "Completed"
After a configurable delay (e.g., 2 hours), a message is sent
Customer receives a friendly request with a direct link to your Google Reviews page
They tap the link and leave a review — one click
Setup
Step 1: Go to Dashboard → Settings → Automation
Toggle on "Review Requests".
Step 2: Set the delay
Choose how many hours after service completion to send the request:
1 hour — immediate, while the experience is fresh
2 hours (recommended) — gives customer time to get home
4 hours — for services with delayed results (hair color, spa treatments)
24 hours — next-day follow up
Step 3: Add your Google Place ID
Enter your Google Place ID so we can generate a direct review link. To find it:
Go to Google Maps
Search for your business
The URL will contain a Place ID, or use Google's Place ID Finder tool
What the message says
"Hi [name]! Thanks for visiting [business]. If you enjoyed your experience, we'd love a quick review: [Google Review Link]"
The message is short, friendly, and contains a one-tap link to leave a review.
Best practices
Don't spam — only sends to customers who completed their booking (not cancelled/no-show)
One request per visit — never sends duplicate requests for the same booking
Natural timing — sending 2 hours after gives time for the experience to settle
High conversion — direct Google link means 1 tap to review (no searching)
Impact
Businesses using automated review requests typically see:
3-5x more Google reviews per month
Average rating improvement of 0.2-0.4 stars (happy customers are more likely to respond)
Better Google Maps ranking (review count and freshness are ranking factors)
Cost
Review requests are included in all plans at no extra cost. Sent via the same WhatsApp/SMS channel as booking reminders.
