Set Up WhatsApp Booking & Reminders

WhatsApp messages have a 98% open rate — compared to 20% for email. Here's how to enable WhatsApp for your bookings.

What WhatsApp does for your business

  • Booking channel — customers can complete bookings via WhatsApp
  • Confirmations — instant WhatsApp message when someone books
  • Reminders — automatic 24-hour reminder before appointments
  • Reduces no-shows — businesses report 40-55% fewer no-shows with WhatsApp reminders

  • How to enable

Step 1: Go to Dashboard → Settings → Notifications

    Turn on "WhatsApp Notifications" toggle.

Step 2: Verify your phone number

Enter your business WhatsApp number. We'll send a verification code.

Step 3: Choose what to send

  • Booking confirmation — sent immediately when a booking is made
  • 24h reminder — sent 24 hours before the appointment
  • 2h reminder (optional) — sent 2 hours before

  • Step 4: Customize messages (optional)

    Default messages include:

  • Business name
  • Service booked
  • Date and time
  • Address/location
  • Cancel/reschedule link

  • For customers booking via WhatsApp

When "WhatsApp" is enabled as a booking channel, customers see a WhatsApp option during the booking flow. They're directed to your WhatsApp number with a pre-filled message containing their booking details.

    SMS fallback

If WhatsApp delivery fails, the system automatically falls back to SMS (via Twilio). This ensures your customers always receive their confirmations and reminders.

    Pricing

WhatsApp notifications are included in all plans at no extra cost. SMS fallback uses your Twilio credits if configured.
