Client notifications
Clients automatically receive emails for:
Booking confirmation — Immediately after booking, with date, time, service, and any prep instructions
Appointment reminder — 24 hours before (and optionally 2 hours before)
Rescheduling notice — When you or they reschedule
Cancellation confirmation — When a booking is cancelled
Follow-up — After the appointment (optional, can include review request)
Business notifications
You receive notifications for:
New booking — Instant notification when someone books
Cancellation — When a client cancels
Reschedule — When a client reschedules
Payment received — When a payment is processed
Review received — When a client leaves feedback
Customizing notifications
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Notifications to:
Toggle individual notification types on/off
Set reminder timing (how many hours before)
Enable/disable follow-up emails
Choose your preferred notification channels

While Addagio sends notifications on your behalf, they're branded with your business name and styling. The emails include:
Your business name and logo
Service details and pricing
Location or meeting link

Notification best practices
Keep reminders enabled — they reduce no-shows by up to 40%

Quiet hours
If you don't want to receive business notifications during off-hours, set quiet hours in your notification preferences. Notifications will be batched and delivered when quiet hours end.
