Addagio sends notifications through three channels: email, SMS, and WhatsApp. All notifications are translated into the vendor's language setting (17 languages supported).
When a new booking is created
5 notifications are sent:
- Subject: "Booking sent -- [Business Name] ([REF-CODE])"
- Contains: customer name, services booked, date/time, total amount, reference code, link to the booking page, WhatsApp link to contact the vendor
- Reply-to address routes through Addagio for tracking: booking+[REF-CODE]@addagio.io
- Sent if the customer provided a phone number
- Message: "Hi [Name]! Your booking with [Business] has been sent. They'll confirm soon."
- Includes date, services, reference code, and "Sent via Addagio"
- Phone numbers are normalized with country codes automatically
- For claimed vendors -- Subject: "New booking from [Customer Name] ([REF-CODE])"
- Contains full customer details: name, email, phone, services, date/time, total amount
- For unclaimed vendors -- Subject: "Someone just booked [Business Name] -- claim your free page"
- Shows partial booking details with a call-to-action to claim the page
- For claimed vendors: "[Customer Name] booked. Total: $XX.XX. Ref: [CODE]. Manage: addagio.io/dashboard/bookings"
- For unclaimed vendors: "New booking for [Business]! Claim free: addagio.io/register?claim=..."
- Internal notification to hello@addagio.io with full context: vendor info (claimed/unclaimed, city, country, language), customer info, booking details, and which notifications were successfully sent

Customer account creation
After the first booking, a customer account is automatically created. If the customer is brand new, they receive a "Manage your bookings on Addagio" email with a sign-in link to addagio.io/my-bookings. This email is skipped if it is the customer's first booking (they already received the confirmation email).
Language support
All email subjects, SMS messages, and email content are translated based on the vendor's language setting. Supported languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Turkish, Polish, Czech, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian.
