What your business type affects
Template suggestions — We recommend templates that work best for your industry. A photographer gets portfolio-focused templates while a consultant gets professional layouts.
Service presets — When you add your first service, we suggest common services for your industry with typical durations and price ranges.
Booking flow — Some business types benefit from specific booking flows (e.g., multi-step for complex services, quick-book for simple appointments).
Feature recommendations — We suggest relevant features based on your type (e.g., before/after gallery for beauty, intake forms for medical).
Changing your business type
You can change your business type at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Business → Type. Changing it won't affect your existing content, services, or bookings — it only updates future recommendations and suggestions.
Multiple businesses
If you run multiple businesses of different types, you'll need separate Addagio pages for each (available on Business plan). Each page can have its own business type and template.
